Entering a Christian marriage is a serious undertaking. Therefore, the Church insists that couples who contemplate matrimony receive as much preparation as possible. A Pre-Cana Conference is a basic requirement, as is a natural family planning course and obtaining appropriate documents regarding Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Other documents may be necessary, so the rectory should be called at least six months prior to the wedding date for the priest or deacon to begin the preparation process. Apart from exceptional circumstances couples should be married in the home parish of one of the parties. Please contact one of the priests by clicking here or by calling the rectory at 914-737-2071
Engaged couples should contact the Rectory at least six months in advance in order to arrange for their participation in the marriage preparation program
